WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE TO KNOW?
If you don't see your question answered below, do not hesitate to contact us directly.
DO YOU PROVIDE IN PERSON EVALUATIONS OR THERAPY?
ENHANCED Speech Therapy primarily provides in home services in the metro Atlanta area. However, we do provide teletherapy evaluations and treatments to families living outside metro Atlanta.
DO I NEED A REFERRAL TO BOOK A THERAPIST?
Not at all. ENHANCED recommend referrals from your primary physician if you are planning to submit a claim to your insurance, but no referral is needed to see our therapists. Simply visit our contact page to book an appointment.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN SCHOOL SPEECH THERAPY AND PRIVATE PRACTICE SPEECH THERAPY?
In order to receive speech/language therapy in their public school, the Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) must document that the child's speech/language impairment is adversely impacting their learning in school. Many children with speech/language disorders do not qualify for school services. If the child does qualify for services in the school district, they will be seen in a group setting.

Private speech therapy is typically one-on-one, giving the child the undivided attention of the SLP and the opportunity for more practice of their target skill(s).

ENHANCED not only helps the child master their goals as quickly as possible, but we also prioritize the inclusion of parents and family members in the treatment process.

ENHANCED recognizes that speech therapy is a significant investment and strives to maximize the return on investment for each family.
IF I HAVE MY CHILD EVALUATED DO I HAVE TO GET THERAPY?
No. You are never under any obligation with ENHANCED for services. Following an initial evaluation we will make therapy recommendations. It will be up to each family to decide whether or not they wish to pursue speech/language therapy.
DOES ENHANCED ACCEPT INSURANCE?
ENHANCED does not currently accept insurance. However, we are happy to provide a Superbill of services for you to submit to your insurance company or FSA for reimbursement.
HOW OFTEN AND FOR HOW LONG WILL MY CHILD NEED SPEECH THERAPY?
We will decide that together. The frequency and duration of therapy are determined by the extent of the child's delay/disorder, their age and attention span, and what works with each family's schedule. You can expect your child to need Speech Therapy once or twice week for about 6 months.
